What data do you access from Google Analytics? (paid plans)
Google Analytics integration is part of the Starter and Pro plans. We request read-only access to your Google Analytics data via OAuth. This covers session data, page performance, traffic sources, and goal completions from the past 90 days. We never request write access and cannot make any changes to your Google Analytics property.
Is my data safe?
We use your analytics data to provide your dashboard explanations and AI advisor. Relevant figures are processed by Anthropic, and the advisor uses OpenAI when searching our guidance library. We do not sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains the providers, storage and your rights.
How is this different from Google Analytics itself? (paid plans)
Google Analytics integration is part of the Starter and Pro plans. Google Analytics shows you raw numbers - sessions, bounce rates, conversions. We tell you what those numbers mean for your business and what to do about them. Instead of dashboards, you get a plain-English action plan prioritised by expected impact.
How is this different from Google PageSpeed Insights?
PageSpeed focuses on performance and basic SEO. sitesimple.io goes further with 50+ checks across 6 categories - SEO, Performance, Security, Privacy & Compliance, Design & UX, and Accessibility - plus plain-English fix guides, and AI-written explanations on our paid plans.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, absolutely. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time. When you cancel, you won't be charged for the next period, and you keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling billing does not delete your account. You can download your data or delete your account from My Account.
Do you modify my analytics? (paid plans)
Never. Google Analytics integration is part of the Starter and Pro plans, and we only ever read your data. We do not create goals, modify filters, add tracking code, or change any settings in your Google Analytics account. Your Google Analytics property remains exactly as you set it up.
What if I don't have Google Analytics?
You can still run a free audit without Google Analytics - it checks your website directly for SEO, Performance, Security, Privacy & Compliance, Design & UX, and Accessibility issues. If Google Analytics is missing, the audit will flag it as a recommendation with setup instructions. Google Analytics integration is part of the Starter and Pro plans.
Do I need an account to use the free audit?
Yes, a free account is required. The free plan includes three audits in total, with automated checks, no AI and no payment card needed. This helps us prevent abuse and lets you save your audit history.
How long does an audit take?
Most audits complete in about 60 seconds. You will see results appear on screen as each category finishes.
What platforms do you support?
sitesimple.io works with any publicly accessible website. Our fix guides include platform-specific instructions for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, and other popular CMS platforms.
